  4. Seive in baking powder, flour and custard powder in the same big bowl
  5. Add milk at room temperature with vanilla essence and malai and mix well until you get a creamy batter
  6. Pour batter in a greased baking tin and bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre of the cake comes out clean
  7. Remove it on a wire rack
  8. Let it cool
  9. Cut and serve
